MANILA - It was fireworks day at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium as the Titans All-Stars got their bats going in a 16-6 shelling of the youthful Cebuana Lhuillier last Saturday.

Leslie Suntay and Bambol Servo mirrored each other's performance at the plate in going 3 for 4 with four runs batted in apiece, while BJ Cebrero drove in another three to lead the orangemen's offensive onslaught.

Servo, a holdover from the Titans All-Stars that competed in 2002 Metroball and a former member of the Philippine National Team, broke open a 2-0 contest with a three-run homer off Cebuana starter Jay Moral to highlight a six-run fourth inning outburst that gave the orange an 8-0 cushion.

The Titans effectively put the game out of reach with another six-spot in the fifth, this time off reliever Joseph Apura.

The Lhuillier mounted a series of two-run rallies in each of the next three frames off Titans righthander Arvin Cirunay but couldn't recover from the huge deficit.

RHP Sky Rosales started for the Titans and tossed four scoreless innings to keep Cebuana off the scoreboard early on.
