The Loyola Blue Eagles warm up for their nail biter against Antipolo ACG. The Eagles succumbed to Antipolo 8-5.

Another day of baseball, another day of action. All eight teams hit the diamond and all presented better results than the previous weekend.

Loyola picked them selves up from a Saturday loss to Antipolo (8-5) by beating on  Titans Korean pitching 26-4. The Eagles have returned with a vengeance this season and are sitting fourth in the standings. Just a game back on the leaders, the Eagles look to take top spot every game behind the hitting of Quioge, Dizer, Zamora, Veloso and Fernandez.

Defending champions Antipolo picked up where they left of last year. Their winning ways still un-blemished despite the departure of southpaw Joseph Orillana. They have battled on their first day winning 8-5 over Loyola, but showed their true selves by trouncing Makati 25-2.

New kids on the block Alabang Athletics have been the true news of the league. They youth all-stars dropped both games they played this weekend being beat by Cebuana (20-4) and Marikina (5-0). Both games were trully impressive though showing they have not just basics to play the game, but advanced skill to hold power teams scoreless for some innings.

"We are doing pretty good. We almost managed to shut Cebuana down a few innings," said team manager Dito Borromeo.

"Pare, bakod na bakod yung outfield nila!" exclaimed OF Joey Ramos of the 2nd place Marikina.

If this is an indcation of their game, the next 12 games they will be playing will be something to watch out for.

A team showing signs of resurgence is Titans Korea. Their hitting is beginning to pick up, and evidence of this are the homeruns they are producing against good pitching. Leading the pack is John Kim with two dingers in 3 games. The team already have 3 in as many games, but show that they are capable of more power at the plate. They still have 11 games ahead and that every game played will prove to be beneficial to them.

As the 3rd weekend approaches and teams lash out at it once again, there will be gains and losses. The most notable gain however will be the experience for all players, organizers and fans. You're in the game!
