Titans League Becoming A Reality
New league seeks to deliver...

Adult baseball in the Philippines enters a new era when the inaugural Titans League unfolds in late February next year. Patterned after the National Adult Baseball Association and Men's Senior Baseball League of the United States' amateur ranks, the league will comprise around eight teams, each playing out a 21-game regular season with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs.

Defining moments such as this table gathering during the 2002 Titans Series should become a familiar sight around the Titans League.Designed to provide regular competition on an annual basis, the league will run thru late June with games taking place over 16 weekends in four stages. It is envisioned in the next few years to prime the country as a hotbed for amateur baseball, attracting a spectrum of recreational players and aspiring talent alike.

The organizational structure now exists with the Titans Baseball Club, working hand in hand with the private sector and consolidating the efforts of various adult baseball interests, to provide the continuity baseball has lacked in the Philippine setting.
